Meet our Staff members
Nicky Baker I have been the with the centre since 2003, as a volunteer. I become the Manager in 2005.
I am a Registered Social Worker. Part my role is running these programmes for the centre: Positive Relationship, Raising Complex Kids course and Pre/Teen and Anxiety programmes along with Social Work support for our clients.
Moana Apes I am the Administrator for the Centre.
I returned to live in New Zealand after many years living and working overseas. I bring to the team over 40 years of Administration experience having worked in all different types of industry and I look forward to the new challenge that this position offers.

My background is in nursing and I work with whanau who have co-existing A& OD Mental Health, Family Harm issues. Whanau Ora is the framework that I work with underpins a ‘healthy whanau’ concept. I work at Centre as a counsellor with whanau, partners, individuals and Tamariki. Providing counselling, access to specialist A&OD/Mental health service plays a huge part of this service.

Justine Aston I have been with the centre for 7 years. I am currently in my 3rd year of my social work degree.
I facilitate STWC Parenting programmes and Women’s Self Confidence programme, Grandparents raising Whanau programme and a support person for clients at the centre.
